Program Overview

The Fast Track Business Engineer Program at z.systems is designed for recent graduates who aspire to become Business Engineers in the retail and distribution sector. Over the course of 12 months, participants will rotate through key functional areas—Retail Sales, Wholesale Sales, Portfolio Management, Growth Operations, Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, Data Performance, and Territory Operations—gaining direct exposure to founders, leadership, and day‑to‑day business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail Sales Representative: Engage with independent grocery stores, understand their needs, and promote the Z marketplace.
• Wholesale Sales Representative: Build relationships with wholesalers, negotiate pricing, and manage supply chain dynamics.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of wholesalers, ensuring performance metrics, renewal rates, and growth targets are met.
• Growth & Sales Operations: Identify opportunities for expansion, streamline processes, and support the founders in scaling the business.
• Key Account & Trade Marketing: Develop activation campaigns, loyalty programs, and promotional strategies to drive consumer engagement.
• Data & Performance Analysis: Use Excel/Sheets to analyze sales data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
• Operations & Territory Management: Plan field visits, maintain driver’s license (optional), and ensure on‑site compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication and relationship management.
• Ability to own projects from day one.
• Fluency in French and Darija; English is a plus.
