Novancy, a leading consulting firm specializing in Information Systems and Digital Transformation, is looking for a seasoned Head of Data to spearhead our data initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive data vision that aligns with our business strategy, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively to drive decision-making and innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a data strategy that supports business objectives and fosters a data-driven culture.
• Overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition and storage to processing and analysis.
• Leading and mentoring cross-functional data teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
• Collaborating closely with senior leadership to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
• Identifying and establishing partnerships with technology vendors and platforms to enhance our data capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 10+ years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Hadoop, Spark, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture, and analytics frameworks.
• Experience with DataOps and MLops practices to streamline data pipelines and model deployment.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Educational requirements include a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Candidates with advanced degrees or certifications in data management and analytics are highly valued. This role offers a permanent contract (CDI) based in Casablanca, with a focus on in-person collaboration and leadership within our dynamic team.
