Our hostel, located in the heart of Marrakech Medina, is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the face of the hostel, welcoming guests with a warm smile and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include greeting guests upon arrival, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently, managing reservations and cancellations, and answering questions about local attractions and hostel amenities.
The Receptionist will also maintain accurate records of guest stays, update the booking system, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals. Basic computer skills are required to manage our reservation software and communicate with guests via email or phone.
Multilingual proficiency in English and French is highly valued, as many of our guests come from diverse backgrounds. The role demands multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, problem‑solving on the spot, and maintaining a professional yet friendly demeanor throughout the day.
