We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Receptionist (Male) who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our hotel, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well‑cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Guest Reception and Welcome: Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Verify reservations, confirm guest details, and provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

    Front‑Desk Operations: Manage all front‑desk activities, including check‑in, check‑out, room assignments, and handling of payments and billing. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, room occupancy, and financial transactions.

    Guest Inquiries and Requests: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, both in person and via phone or email. Resolve issues and complaints efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

    Mail and Delivery Management: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Coordinate with delivery services and ensure timely delivery of items to guests.

    Switchboard and Reservation System: Operate the hotel’s switchboard, answering calls and directing them to the appropriate departments. Manage the hotel reservation system, updating room availability and processing bookings.

    Collaboration with Hotel Departments: Work closely with housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance teams to coordinate guest needs, room readiness, and service delivery. Ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow across departments.

    Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining the front‑desk area. Assist with the preparation of daily reports, occupancy charts, and other documentation as required.

    Candidate Profile:

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years of front‑desk experience in a hotel or similar hospitality setting. Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume guest traffic and complex situations.

    Language Skills: Excellent command of both spoken and written English and French. Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.

    Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar). Comfortable with computers, point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, and basic office software (Word, Excel).

    Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage guests, listen actively, and respond with empathy and professionalism.

    Problem‑Solving and Multitasking: Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Professionalism: A courteous, approachable, and polished appearance. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and represent the hotel’s brand positively.

    Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across various departments, fostering a supportive and cooperative work environment.

    Education:

    • Bachelor +2 (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree plus two years of post‑secondary education). A background in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is highly desirable.

    Working Conditions:

    Location: The hotel is situated in the heart of Marrakech, offering a dynamic and culturally rich environment. The position is full‑time and requires on‑site presence during all operating hours, including weekends and public holidays.
