Position Overview
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance using cloud platforms (SAP, XERO, QuickBooks, CRM).
• Ensuring compliance with Moroccan accounting standards and IFRS where applicable.
• Data entry and reconciliation of accounts with a focus on accuracy and detail orientation.
• Collaborating with senior finance staff to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Participating in continuous learning and development initiatives to stay current with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping records, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of cloud accounting solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Communicate financial insights and updates to the team and stakeholders in clear, concise English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and precision.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable with cloud accounting tools and data entry systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Working Conditions
