About the Role

Cypher, a leading provider of cloud-based accounting and CFO services, is expanding its finance team in Casablanca. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data while embracing modern technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements in accordance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP standards.
• Perform routine data entry tasks using SAP, XERO, QuickBooks, and CRM platforms.
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial reports and support budgeting processes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; develop dashboards using Power BI.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous learning and development initiatives to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience with SAP, XERO, QuickBooks, and CRM systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
