As the Lead Business Analyst for Insurance Platform Rollouts (BMP), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering large‑scale transformation initiatives for a leading global insurance group. Your responsibilities will span the entire delivery lifecycle, from initial stakeholder engagement to final UAT, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, documented, and translated into actionable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements. Create comprehensive AS‑IS/TO‑BE process models, use cases, and personas using BPMN and Visio.
- Scope & Prioritization: Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with product owners to prioritize features that deliver maximum business value.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and traceability of requirements throughout the delivery cycle.
- Governance & Best Practices: Enforce compliance with governance standards, contribute to the development of BA frameworks, reusable assets, and promote continuous improvement within the BA community.
- Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior BAs, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 8‑10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 6 years as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- Proven expertise in core insurance platforms such as BMP, ABS, GRP2, or Guidewire, and a deep understanding of their underlying architecture.
- Strong background in requirements engineering, process modeling (BPMN), and agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Visio).
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience across insurance domains such as Sales, Claims, or Product is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as IIBA CBAP, ABSL1/ABSL2/ABAC are advantageous.
