In this strategic position, the Lead Business Analyst will be the linchpin between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams for the rollout of the BMP platform across the client’s insurance operations. The role requires a deep understanding of insurance processes, particularly in sales, claims, and product management, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

The analyst will lead workshops and discovery sessions to elicit requirements, produce detailed process models using BPMN, and develop use cases and personas that guide the development team. They will also manage the backlog, define acceptance criteria, and support user acceptance testing to ensure that delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Beyond technical deliverables, the Lead Business Analyst will champion best practices in business analysis, contribute to the development of BA frameworks and reusable assets, and mentor junior analysts. They will also ensure compliance with governance standards and maintain alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key technical proficiencies include experience with core insurance platforms such as BMP, ABS, GRP2, and Guidewire, as well as proficiency in agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio. Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills are essential for navigating cross‑functional teams and driving project success.
