    About the Role

    As the Public Affairs Lead – Global Affairs for Glovo in Morocco, you will be the primary liaison between the company and the public sector, ensuring that Glovo’s interests are effectively represented across national and local government bodies. Your responsibilities will span policy monitoring, stakeholder mapping, reputation management, and strategic operational support, all aimed at safeguarding and advancing Glovo’s brand and business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Track legislative and regulatory developments that impact the e‑commerce, delivery, and logistics sectors. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with key government officials, industry associations, and community leaders. Represent Glovo at public forums and advisory boards.
    • Reputation & Issues Management: Develop and execute communication strategies to manage public perception, address crises, and promote Glovo’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
    • Strategic & Operational Support: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Legal, Marketing, Operations) to align public affairs initiatives with business goals. Draft policy briefs, position papers, and briefing notes.
    • Government Relations: Negotiate with regulatory agencies, secure approvals, and advocate for favorable policies that support Glovo’s expansion and innovation.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy analysis.
    • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and reputation management.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex policy documents.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic, French, and English.
    • Proficiency in presentation and negotiation, with a calm, solution‑oriented approach under pressure.
    • Experience in a fast‑paced, global startup environment is highly desirable.
