In Morocco, Glovo’s Public Affairs Lead will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and advancing the company’s interests with public authorities and key stakeholders. The role is embedded within the Global Affairs team and focuses on the following core responsibilities:
- Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Track legislative, regulatory, and policy developments that could impact Glovo’s operations. Maintain situational awareness of political signals, stakeholders, and emerging trends. Prepare briefs, risk analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Strategic and Operational Support: Assist the Head of Global Affairs in building and executing the public affairs strategy. Coordinate workstreams, timelines, and follow‑up actions across functions and with regional/global PA teams. Draft agendas, briefs, talking points, and background notes for key meetings.
- Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Develop and update stakeholder dashboards. Identify influence channels, potential allies, and advocacy coalitions. Drive participation in public consultations, working groups, and industry forums. Draft position papers, consultation responses, and institutional narratives. Represent Glovo in meetings when required.
- Reputation & Issues Management: Monitor sensitive topics and coordinate with Communications on risk anticipation, messaging, and crisis documentation.
- Institutional Events & High‑Level Visits: Support institutional components of leadership visits, including co‑founders, HQ executives, and GM. Prepare briefing books, stakeholder notes, and logistics plans.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of experience in public affairs, policy, government relations, consulting, or related fields.
- Strong analytical ability and a deep understanding of Morocco’s institutional landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging.
- Solid understanding of the economic, political, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional writing skills in Arabic, French, and English.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with precision, structure, and discretion.
