Glovo, a Barcelona‑based startup that has rapidly become the fastest‑growing delivery player across Europe, Africa, and Western Asia, is expanding its presence in Morocco. The company delivers a wide range of products—from food and groceries to pharmaceuticals and electronics—within cities at any time of day. Its core business spans e‑commerce, on‑demand delivery, logistics, and technology, creating a dynamic environment where speed, reliability, and customer experience are paramount.

In this context, the Public Affairs Lead – Global Affairs Morocco will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s external relationships and policy positions within the Moroccan market. The position is a full‑time, hybrid (HB) role, offering the flexibility to work from home two days a week and from anywhere for up to three weeks a year.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously track legislative and regulatory developments that could impact Glovo’s operations, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Identify and engage with key stakeholders—government officials, regulators, industry bodies, and community leaders—to build constructive relationships and advocate for favorable policy outcomes.
    • Reputation & Issues Management: Monitor public perception and media coverage, develop crisis communication plans, and manage issues that could affect Glovo’s brand and operational stability.
    • Strategic & Operational Support: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations) to align public affairs strategies with business objectives, ensuring cohesive messaging and policy alignment.
    • Government Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between Glovo and Moroccan government entities, negotiating permits, addressing regulatory concerns, and fostering a positive regulatory environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 3‑5 years of proven experience in public affairs, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and government relations. They will possess strong communication and writing skills, be fluent in Arabic, French, and English, and demonstrate the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset. The role demands a calm demeanor under pressure, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

    Benefits and perks include:

    • Equity participation, allowing employees to share in Glovo’s growth.
    • Comprehensive private health insurance.
    • Monthly Glovo credit for personal use.
    • Flexible work arrangements: two days remote per week and up to three weeks of remote work per year.
    • Enhanced parental leave and on‑site nursery facilities.
    • Well‑being support, including online therapy and mental health resources.

Glovo’s culture is built on diversity, innovation, and a relentless focus on customer experience. The company actively promotes equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background. Employees are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive creativity and business success.

Applicants are invited to submit their resumes, highlighting relevant experience and language proficiency. While the role requires a high level of expertise across public affairs, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and government relations, Glovo values potential and is open to candidates who demonstrate a strong foundation in these areas and a passion for making a positive impact in the Moroccan market.
