    Glovo, a Barcelona‑based startup that has rapidly become the leading delivery platform across Europe, Africa, and Western Asia, is looking for a seasoned Public Affairs Lead to head its Global Affairs initiatives in Morocco. This senior position sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relations, ensuring that Glovo’s operations remain aligned with national policies and public expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Legislative and Regulatory Monitoring – Continuously track and analyze legislative proposals, regulatory changes, and policy developments that could impact Glovo’s business model. Provide timely briefings to senior leadership and recommend proactive responses.

    2. Strategic Public Affairs Planning – Design and execute a comprehensive public affairs strategy tailored to the Moroccan market. This includes setting objectives, identifying priority issues, and aligning cross‑functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.

    3. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management – Build and maintain robust relationships with government officials, industry associations, NGOs, and other key stakeholders. Facilitate dialogues, negotiate agreements, and represent Glovo’s interests in high‑level forums.

    4. Reputation and Issues Management – Monitor public sentiment and media coverage, develop crisis communication plans, and coordinate responses to safeguard Glovo’s brand reputation.

    5. Cross‑Functional Coordination – Work closely with Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to ensure that public affairs initiatives are integrated into broader corporate strategies.

    6. High‑Level Representation – Act as Glovo’s spokesperson in meetings with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies, presenting the company’s position and negotiating on its behalf.

    Required Experience and Skills

    The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in public affairs, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management within a complex regulatory environment. They must possess strong analytical capabilities, be adept at strategic planning, and demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills. Fluency in Arabic, French, and English is mandatory, as the role involves drafting documents, delivering presentations, and negotiating in all three languages.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.

    • Proven track record of influencing policy and building stakeholder relationships.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure, remain calm, and provide solutions in fast‑paced environments.

    • Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
