Glovo, a Barcelona‑based startup and the fastest‑growing delivery player across Europe, Africa, and Western Asia, is looking for a Public Affairs Lead to support its Global Affairs team in Morocco. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and advancing Glovo’s interests with public authorities and other key stakeholders while strengthening the company’s reputation within its ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Track legislative, regulatory, and policy developments that can potentially impact Glovo’s business. Maintain situational awareness of political signals, stakeholders, and emerging trends. Prepare briefs, risk analyses, and recommendations for the Head of GA and leadership.
- Strategic and Operational Support: Support the Head of GA in building and executing the Public Affairs Strategy and plans. Coordinate workstreams, timelines, and follow‑up actions across functions and with regional/global PA teams. Prepare agendas, briefs, talking points, and background notes for key meetings. Ensure structured and timely follow‑up after institutional engagements. Translate PA plans into clear and actionable insights and initiatives for internal teams.
- Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Develop and update stakeholder dashboards. Identify influence channels, potential allies, and advocacy coalitions. Drive participation in public consultations, working groups, and industry forums. Draft position papers, consultation responses, and institutional narratives. Represent Glovo in meetings when needed.
- Reputation & Issues Management: Monitor sensitive topics. Coordinate with Communications on risk anticipation, messaging, and crisis documentation.
- Institutional Events & High‑Level Visits: Support institutional components of leadership visits (co‑founders, HQ executives, GM). Prepare briefing books, stakeholder notes, and logistics plans.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years in Public Affairs, Policy, Government Relations, Consulting, or similar fields.
- Strong analytical ability and understanding of Morocco’s institutional landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of the economic, political, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent writing skills in Arabic, French & English.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with precision.
