Glovo, a Barcelona‑based startup, has rapidly become the fastest‑growing delivery player across Europe, Africa, and Western Asia. With a presence in more than 1,500 cities and 23 countries, Glovo connects millions of users with local businesses, couriers, and a wide range of on‑demand services. The company’s core offerings span courier delivery, food ordering, pharmacy and beauty products, supermarkets, and a broad marketplace that allows users to order virtually anything that fits in a courier’s bag.

In Morocco, Glovo is expanding its footprint and strengthening its local operations. To support this growth, the Global Affairs team requires a dedicated Public Affairs Lead who will serve as the primary liaison between Glovo and Moroccan public authorities, industry bodies, and other key stakeholders. The role is pivotal in safeguarding and advancing Glovo’s interests, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a positive corporate reputation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Policy Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously track legislative, regulatory, and policy developments that could impact Glovo’s business. Maintain situational awareness of political signals, stakeholder dynamics, and emerging trends. Prepare concise briefs, risk analyses, and actionable recommendations for the Head of Global Affairs and senior leadership.
    • Strategic & Operational Support: Assist the Head of Global Affairs in formulating and executing the Public Affairs strategy and plans. Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, set timelines, and ensure timely follow‑up on institutional engagements. Translate high‑level PA plans into clear, actionable insights for internal teams.
    • Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Build and update stakeholder dashboards, identifying influence channels, potential allies, and advocacy coalitions. Drive participation in public consultations, working groups, and industry forums. Draft position papers, consultation responses, and institutional narratives. Represent Glovo in meetings when required.
    • Reputation & Issues Management: Monitor sensitive topics and coordinate with Communications to anticipate risks, craft messaging, and document crisis responses. Ensure alignment with global and regional PA teams.
    • Institutional Events & High‑Level Visits: Support institutional components of leadership visits, including co‑founders, HQ executives, and the General Manager. Prepare briefing books, stakeholder notes, and logistics plans for visits and events.

    Candidate Profile:

    • 5+ years of experience in Public Affairs, Policy, Government Relations, Consulting, or related fields.
    • Strong analytical ability and deep understanding of Morocco’s institutional landscape.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in Arabic, French, and English.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with precision, structure, and discretion.
    • Proactive, solution‑oriented, and calm under pressure.

Glovo values diversity and inclusion. The company is committed to providing equal opportunities to talent from all backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, and abilities. The role offers a competitive equity plan, private health insurance, monthly Glovo credits, flexible working arrangements (up to two days remote per week and up to three weeks from anywhere per year), enhanced parental leave, an office‑based nursery, and online therapy and wellbeing benefits.

Interested candidates should submit their application through the Glovo career portal. The position is based in Casablanca with a hybrid working model. Glovo encourages applicants to note their pronouns in the application to foster an inclusive environment.
