    Job Overview

    Cypher, a technology‑driven accounting and CFO firm, offers cloud‑based accounting and finance solutions across North Africa. Based in Casablanca, the company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing team. The position is a full‑time CDI with a hybrid working model, combining remote and on‑site collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
    • Design, implement, and optimize accounting processes, leveraging tools such as SAP, XERO, QuickBooks, and CRM systems.
    • Manage a team of accountants, providing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, including variance analysis and management commentary.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate financial data into business intelligence platforms like Power BI.
    • Present financial insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
    • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data integrity across all reporting outputs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or equivalent.
    • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and visualization.
    • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
