The role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust analysis, and continuous process improvement for a diverse portfolio of startup and growing business clients across the US, UK, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of entry‑level accountants, fostering professional growth, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining high quality standards.
• Process Optimization: Design and refine accounting processes using tools such as SAP, XERO, Quickbooks, and CRM systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Strategic Contribution: Offer data‑driven recommendations to the accounting manager and senior leadership to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑paced fintech or startup environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI for reporting dashboards.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and cloud accounting platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
