Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be at the heart of Enakl’s platform, responsible for developing robust backend services that power the collective mobility ecosystem. Your work will directly influence the reliability, performance, and scalability of the application that millions of users rely on daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend features using Typescript, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, ensuring clean architecture and maintainable code.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases, writing efficient SQL queries and managing data models with TypeORM.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver full‑stack solutions, including web and mobile components built with React, Angular, or Flutter.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to uphold high code quality standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, applying system thinking to solve complex problems.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Typescript, NestJS, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, and TypeORM.
• Solid understanding of API design principles and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, especially AWS (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3).
• Familiarity with Flutter for mobile development is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
