About the Role

Enakl is a forward‑thinking startup that redefines collective mobility in Morocco and beyond. Based in Casablanca, the company operates remotely, allowing engineers to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team that includes members from Paris, Dakar, and Tunis. The position is a CDI (permanent contract) and offers the flexibility of full remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using NestJS and Node.js.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with API Design best practices.
• Model and manage data using PostgreSQL and TypeORM.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability across distributed architectures.
• Integrate cloud services on AWS (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3) to support infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers using Next.js to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to streamline releases.
• Apply clean code principles and conduct code reviews to maintain high quality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS framework.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3).
• Background in mobile development with Flutter is a plus.
• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.
• Commitment to clean code and collaborative development.

Experience & Education

Minimum 3 years and maximum 5 years of professional experience in backend development. A Master’s degree (BAC +5) is preferred. Fluency in English (B2 level) is required.

Work Environment

Remote work (télétravail) with occasional collaboration across international teams. The role supports a flexible schedule while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.
