Novancy, a leading staffing and recruitment firm specializing in Information Systems and Digital Transformation, is looking for a Senior C# ASP.NET Core Developer to join our client’s team on a long‑term freelance contract. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with a dynamic, cross‑functional team that includes product managers, designers, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable applications using C# and ASP.NET Core 8.
• Apply advanced C# concepts such as asynchronous programming, generics, and design patterns to solve complex problems.
• Use Entity Framework Core to model data, write efficient LINQ queries, and optimize database performance.
• Design and implement PostgreSQL data models that support efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Write comprehensive unit tests with xUnit and Moq to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the architecture team to build scalable, maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze and translate complex business rules related to Payroll and Temporary Work into robust software solutions.
• Work independently, taking ownership of deliverables and meeting project milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven mastery of C# and ASP.NET Core 8.
• Deep knowledge of Entity Framework Core and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL for data modeling and query optimization.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as xUnit and Moq.
• Experience designing scalable architectures for large‑scale applications.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex problems.
• Knowledge of the Temporary Work/Payroll industry is a significant plus.
• Self‑sufficient, responsible, and able to work independently.
• French language skills are required for this position.
