The Senior Financial Advisory Consultant will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between project identification and financial close. The position involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end advisory services for large‑scale industrial, energy, mining, and infrastructure projects across Africa and beyond. The consultant will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive sector and market analyses across mining, energy, infrastructure, and industrial ecosystems to identify investment opportunities and assess market dynamics.
• Building and maintaining complex financial models, including DCF, M&A, PPP structures, and project finance models, to evaluate project viability and bankability.
• Supporting feasibility and bankability assessments, including tariff modelling, sensitivity analysis, and risk profiling to ensure projects meet investor and lender requirements.
• Drafting investment memoranda, teasers, and presentations for clients, investors, and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), ensuring clear communication of value propositions and financial metrics.
• Assisting in due diligence processes, covering financial, commercial, and ESG aspects, to support transaction execution and partner negotiations.
• Contributing to transaction execution activities, including debt raising, refinancing, and partner negotiations, to secure optimal financing structures.
• Maintaining databases of sector projects, DFI tenders, and client portfolios to support market intelligence and business development efforts.

Qualifications for this role include:

• 3–5 years of experience in financial advisory, investment banking, Big 4 transaction advisory, or infrastructure/project finance.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering from a Tier 1 university.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with experience in DCF, M&A, PPP, and project finance.
• Exposure to PPP/concession agreements, EPC/O&M contracts, and DFI funding instruments is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French is required; Arabic is an asset.
