Novancy, a leading private consulting firm specializing in staffing, recruitment, and digital transformation, invites applications for a Senior PHP/React Developer on a freelance basis. This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from any location while remaining part of a dynamic, international team based in Casablanca, Morocco. Your primary mission will be to design, develop, and optimize web applications that leverage the power of PHP and Symfony on the backend, coupled with React and TypeScript on the frontend. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and implementing new features across the full stack.
• Integrating asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ to support real‑time data flows.
• Performing reverse engineering on legacy codebases to improve performance and maintainability.
• Designing and managing both SQL (MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Ensuring code quality through comprehensive documentation and automated testing.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Proficiency in PHP, Symfony, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non‑relational database design.
