About the Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Yakeey, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust automated test frameworks that cover our multi‑product portfolio, including a property marketplace, credit application platform, and valuation tool. Your expertise will ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, especially as we integrate AI‑driven analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry‑standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Robot Framework.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data scientists to define test strategies that cover functional, regression, performance, and security requirements.
• Lead the adoption of AI‑based testing techniques, leveraging generative AI, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to validate machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript for test development.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, and pytest.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices.
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Performance testing expertise using JMeter, Locust, Postman, and REST Assured.
• Experience with AI testing tools like Testim, Mabl, Applitools, and generative AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of data validation tools such as Great Expectations and dbt testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–9 years of experience in QA, software testing, or automation engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, startup or tech environment is a plus.
