Position Overview
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites that cover functional, performance, and security aspects of our applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into robust test cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, API, mobile, and AI/ML components.
- Develop and maintain test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and other relevant tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies and coverage plans.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
- Stay updated on industry trends in automation, AI testing, and cloud‑native testing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test development.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Understanding of AI/ML testing principles and experience with generative AI testing.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
