Role Overview

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites that validate the functionality, performance, and security of Yakeey’s products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of end‑to‑end automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, and pytest.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data scientists to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality metrics.
• Integrate AI‑driven testing approaches, leveraging tools like Testim, Mabl, and Applitools to validate machine‑learning models and data pipelines.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, Locust, and other relevant tools to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test data, and defect reports.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Experience

Applicants should have 6‑9 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong background in quality assurance for complex, data‑intensive applications. Experience in the real‑estate or PropTech domain is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript is essential. Candidates must be comfortable with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, pytest) and have hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps. Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust) are also required. Familiarity with AI testing, Great Expectations, dbt testing, and ISTQB certification is a plus.

Education & Language

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree (BAC +5) and demonstrate fluency in both English and French. The role is classified as a senior position and offers a hybrid work model (HB).
