With a rapidly expanding user base across the country, WafR’s core platform requires a seasoned technical leader to ensure architectural excellence and code quality.

About the Role

As Senior Technical Lead, you will own the technical vision for the platform, bridging product strategy and engineering execution. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural design and evolution, championing microservices, performance scaling, and cloud adoption.
• Driving rigorous code reviews and establishing automated quality gates.
• Mentoring developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with Product Owners to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Managing technical debt and ensuring system reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a senior or principal role focused on system design.
• Proven expertise in scalable, high‑availability, fault‑tolerant architectures.
• Strong background in code review, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices patterns.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Domain experience in FinTech, e‑commerce, or data analytics.
• Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps principles.
