The Senior Technical Lead – Architecture & Code Quality will play a pivotal role in maintaining the platform’s technical excellence, ensuring that every line of code and every architectural decision aligns with the company’s mission of delivering reliable, secure, and scalable financial solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Architectural Ownership – Own the end‑to‑end technology stack, from data models and infrastructure to application services, ensuring a cohesive and future‑proof architecture.
    • Design Leadership – Lead the design of new features and system enhancements, applying best practices in microservices, event‑driven patterns, and performance scaling.
    • Code Quality Champion – Establish and enforce rigorous code review processes, automate quality gates, and integrate static analysis tools to maintain high standards.
    • Mentorship & Team Development – Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
    • Technical Debt Management – Identify, prioritize, and remediate technical debt, ensuring long‑term system maintainability.
    • Security & Compliance – Embed security best practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
    • Collaboration with Product Owners – Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, providing clear estimates and risk assessments.
    • Automation & CI/CD – Design and maintain automated pipelines for testing, building, and deploying code across multiple environments.
    • Performance Optimization – Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to support high‑availability and scalability.
    • Risk Analysis & Roadmap Influence – Proactively identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and influence the product roadmap to align with technical capabilities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with at least 3 years in a FinTech or high‑growth technology company.
    • Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high‑availability systems.
    • Deep expertise in microservices architecture, event‑driven design, and performance tuning.
    • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and the ability to architect solutions that leverage these services.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross‑functional collaboration.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
    • Proactive mindset with a focus on risk anticipation and mitigation.

    Preferred Skills

    • Advanced knowledge of security best practices, including OWASP guidelines and secure coding standards.
    • Experience with performance monitoring tools and capacity planning.
    • Familiarity with data modeling and infrastructure as code.
    • Prior experience in a startup or high‑growth environment, adapting quickly to evolving requirements.

    • Backend: .NET Core, Node.js, Python
    • Frontend: Flutter (mobile), React.js (web)
    • Architecture: Microservices, Event‑Driven patterns
    • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent
    • Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure
    • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis (as applicable)
    • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
