As the Senior Technical Lead at WafR, you will be the guardian of our platform’s architectural health and code excellence. Your responsibilities include:

• Architectural Strategy: Own the end‑to‑end understanding of our application stack, data models, and infrastructure. Guide strategic decisions around microservices adoption, performance scaling, and system resilience.
• Design Leadership: Lead the technical design, planning, and documentation for major system enhancements. Champion best practices in design patterns, coding standards, and documentation.
• Hands‑On Coding: Contribute code to critical components, demonstrating technical proficiency and setting a high bar for quality.
• Code Quality Assurance: Own the code review process, enforce stringent standards for performance, security, maintainability, and architectural consistency. Implement automated quality checks, testing frameworks, and CI pipelines.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Use code reviews and pair programming to mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Product Alignment: Serve as the technical liaison to Product Owners, translating product goals into actionable technical tasks, estimating effort, and identifying risks early.
• Roadmap Influence: Advise on the technical roadmap, balancing feature delivery with necessary architectural investments to sustain system health and velocity.

We expect you to bring:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a senior or principal focus on system design and architecture.
• Proven ability to design scalable, high‑availability, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Extensive experience in code reviews, Agile environments, and continuous delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in translating complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FinTech, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
