Yakeey is a fast‑growing private company based in Morocco that specializes in property technology (PropTech). The company’s mission is to transform the real‑estate market by providing innovative digital solutions that streamline property transactions, listings, and management.

Position Overview

The Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding a small team of engineers in the development of Yakeey’s core product. This includes designing and implementing backend services, ensuring high performance and scalability, and integrating AI technologies to enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3‑5 engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Architect and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot, following microservices principles.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews and automated testing.
• Integrate AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent agents to add value to the product.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Work closely with front‑end developers using React and Next.js to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including documentation, performance optimization, and security compliance.

Required Experience

6‑9 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in backend engineering, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.

Education & Qualifications

Minimum of a BAC +5 degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Language Proficiency

Fluency in English, French, and Arabic is required to effectively communicate with internal teams and stakeholders.
