We are currently looking for a Technical Lead – a pivotal role that will shape the technical direction of our product, mentor a small but highly capable engineering team, and collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver cutting‑edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading software development teams in a fast‑paced environment, a deep understanding of modern Java ecosystems, and a passion for emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Manage a team of 3‑5 senior engineers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Technical Architecture: Design and evolve the system architecture, ensuring it supports high availability, fault tolerance, and seamless integration with third‑party services.
• Development & Delivery: Oversee the end‑to‑end development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Cloud & DevOps: Lead the adoption of cloud-native practices, leveraging AWS services, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
• AI & Machine Learning: Explore and integrate advanced AI capabilities such as large language models (LLM), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and other machine‑learning techniques to enhance product features.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory standards.

The role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. You will be expected to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, negotiate trade‑offs, and drive consensus across cross‑functional teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with hands‑on experience building microservices.
• Strong front‑end skills using React and Next.js, capable of delivering responsive, high‑performance user interfaces.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation (Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, especially large language models (LLM), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and related frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating technical risks.
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, coach, and develop team members.
• Fluency in English, French, and Arabic at a professional level.
