Addiction Psychiatrist

About the role

Olive Hill Clinique is seeking an Addiction Psychiatrist to join its multidisciplinary team in Marrakesh. The role involves comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment of individuals with substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health conditions, following the clinic’s evidence‑based, holistic approach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and prescribe/manage psychotropic and addiction medications.
• Develop individualized treatment plans within multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, therapists, medical staff, and social workers.
• Participate in individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families.
• Document care in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, case reviews, and continuous improvement of therapeutic programs.

Required profile

• Expertise in Addiction Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, with ability to assess, diagnose, and treat substance use disorders across diverse populations.
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Psychiatry and a valid license to practice.
• Solid foundation in medicine and psychiatry, including experience with co‑occurring mental health conditions and integrated behavioral health care.
• Fluency in English and French; Arabic is an asset.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural differences, ethical practice, and alignment with holistic care values.
