Architecte fonctionnel – Automotive E/E Systems

About the role

The Functional Architect will lead the definition and maintenance of functional requirements for Cockpit, Body, Infotainment and Connected Services systems in automotive projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure system consistency, traceability and compliance with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain functional requirements for Cockpit, Body, Infotainment and Connected Services.
• Design and update functional architecture models using CATIA V6.
• Create, review and manage system requirements and traceability within ENOVIA.
• Manage product diversity and ensure consistency across vehicle configurations.
• Assess functional impacts of change requests on E/E architecture.
• Investigate root‑cause of technical issues reported in ALTIS/PLM and propose corrective actions.
• Generate and maintain Technical Function Design (TFD) and Sub‑System Design (SSD) deliverables.
• Develop and update View 5 functional architecture models.
• Review upstream service specifications to ensure requirement quality and completeness.
• Support stakeholders with technical queries and ensure interoperability between systems.
• Lead technical review meetings with cross‑functional teams and produce meeting minutes and architecture documentation.
• Define and manage calibration parameters according to project requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• 3‑5 years of experience in automotive Electrical & Electronic (E/E) architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Cockpit, Body, Infotainment and Connected Services domains.
• Good understanding of the V‑cycle development process and system integration.
• Ability to analyze specifications, manage system interactions and ensure consistency.
