Area Sales Manager

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth in Morocco. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Agadir or Marrakesh, and focuses on delivering tailored sorting and processing solutions to food industry customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market potential and monitor market share trends.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and sales opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through order closure.
• Take ownership of commercial targets and consistently deliver results.
• Stay informed on industry developments, customer challenges, competitor activity, and TOMRA technologies.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Plan and structure sales activities, including forecasting and pipeline management.
• Conduct regular customer visits, demonstrations, webinars, and promotional events.
• Collaborate with internal sales, service, pre‑sales engineering, and other TOMRA teams.
• Provide structured market feedback to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher qualification in technical, commercial, or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in large capital equipment.
• Proven success managing and closing sales opportunities.
• Strong commercial drive and relationship‑building skills.
