Asset Specialist – Supply Planning & Inventory Management

About the role

The Asset Specialist will manage the purchase order book, inventory position, and supply‑planning activities for a defined supplier portfolio within a global listed company. The role ensures product availability, improves inventory quality, reduces excess and slow‑moving stock, and supports the business in meeting customer delivery requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, sales, finance, warehouse and internal operations teams in a hybrid, cross‑functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill purchase orders and manage order backlog.
• Expedite factory purchase orders to meet open‑order demand.
• Match open orders to customer backlog and adjust schedules as requested.
• Maintain manual bonds for non‑e‑compass accounts.
• Send requests for corporate allocations and expedite backlog.
• Perform bond maintenance under the direction of the material planner.
• Manage consignment billings, sure‑ship processes, and EDI ship‑complete of released orders.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1 level).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with other departments.
