Assistant Professor – Process Design Projects (Chemical Engineering)

About the role

The College of Chemical Sciences & Engineering at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is looking for an Assistant Professor to teach and coordinate process design projects within the Chemical Engineering curriculum. The role focuses on delivering unit operations, separation processes, and introductory reactor engineering modules, as well as supervising project‑based learning for engineering students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate unit operations, separation processes, and reactor engineering modules, including laboratory sessions.
• Lead and supervise process design projects covering equipment sizing, scale‑up studies, and process integration.
• Contribute to integrative projects for the Integrated Preparatory Cycle and oversee end‑of‑study projects, industrial internships, and student research.
• Develop teaching materials, laboratory experiments, assessment methods, and participate in pedagogical committees and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Research background in process design and related areas.
• Ability to supervise student projects and provide academic advising.
