About the role

The Ministry of the Interior, Prefecture of Salé, is seeking a senior professional to lead the Division of Territorial Communities. This position ensures that local authorities operate in full compliance with current regulations and supports their development and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor local assemblies and verify the legality of municipal acts according to applicable laws.
• Oversee the legal status of councils and provide operational assistance to territorial communities.
• Guarantee adherence to legislative and regulatory texts governing local authorities.
• Supervise civil‑status agents, ensuring quality control and service development.
• Provide financial guidance to strengthen the capacity of local entities to fulfill their statutory duties.
• Offer legal advice and conflict‑resolution support to territorial communities.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Legal Sciences or equivalent.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulations affecting local authorities, audit and internal control, administrative law, civil procedures, local finance, and civil‑status matters.
• Demonstrated abilities in team management, rigorous analysis, and professional reporting.
• Personal attributes: rigor, leadership, teamwork spirit, and strong relational skills.
