Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Expert (short‑term consultancy)

About the role

NTU International A/S is building a pool of qualified Clean Tech Business & Value Chains Experts to support the EU‑MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project. Selected experts will be mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis to help accelerate clean‑technology markets and sustainable value chains across the EU and MENA regions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clean‑technology markets, business ecosystems and value chains.
• Map companies, investors, technology providers and other relevant market actors.
• Identify business, trade and investment opportunities across EU‑MENA clean‑technology value chains.
• Support private‑sector engagement, business‑to‑business cooperation and stakeholder matchmaking.
• Assess supply‑chain, local‑content and industrial‑development potential.
• Assist SMEs, start‑ups and innovators in accessing markets, partnerships and investment.
• Facilitate cooperation among companies, public authorities, investors, research institutions and innovation ecosystems.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in business, economics, engineering, innovation, international trade, energy or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in clean‑technology, private‑sector development, value‑chain development, business development or investment promotion.
• Experience with renewable energy, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, storage or sustainable industry is highly desirable.
• Experience working with private companies, SMEs, start‑ups, investors or business associations.
• Knowledge of EU‑MENA trade, investment and business cooperation is a strong asset.
• Experience with EU‑funded programmes, international organisations or development finance institutions is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English; French and/or Arabic are a plus.
