Finance Analyst – Manufacturing & Operations

About the role

As a Finance Analyst for Manufacturing & Operations, you will partner with multiple functions to provide analytical insight that supports operational objectives and aligns with the business strategy. You will work in a global, matrix environment, helping to drive efficiency and performance across the SV plant network.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate plant submissions of actuals, forecasts and budgets.
• Ensure effective planning processes with the Operations SV organization and timely, accurate submissions.
• Review and consolidate weekly operations performance reports.
• Manage forecast, budget and actual variances for non‑plant activities.
• Partner with SV Operations, Plant Finance and Supply Chain to drive business efficiencies and monitor financial targets.
• Identify and track key performance indicators such as productivity, TEBIT, Capex and inventory.
• Supervise, develop and standardize planning and reporting processes, increasing productivity through automation.
• Lead continuous process improvement and best‑practice standardization across plants.
• Ensure compliance with TE Connectivity policies and procedures.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and navigate TE financial and analytical systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• At least 4 years of experience in controlling, budgeting and forecasting with operational exposure.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Accurate, systematic and independent work style; ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading organizations and standard cost accounting techniques.
• Willingness for self‑development and ambition to progress within the company.
• Good communication skills and comfort working in an international matrix organization.
• Previous experience in a multicultural environment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with database software.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• General understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS reporting and local accounting rules.
