General Manager – Hotel Property

About the role

The General Manager will serve as the primary strategic leader of a Marriott hotel in Marrakech, overseeing all aspects of operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and alignment with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that drive profitability, market share, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead the property leadership team, holding them accountable for strategy execution and professional development.
• Manage human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation to deliver a solid return on investment for Marriott and property owners.
• Maintain proactive communication with owners, setting expectations and delivering results.
• Engage with the local community, building relationships with officials, businesses, and customers.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Prior General Manager experience in a limited‑service or full‑service hotel.
• Demonstrated progressive career growth and a record of exceptional performance in the hospitality industry.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
