Head of Finance

About the role

As the Head of Finance for Glovo in Morocco, you will act as the General Manager’s right‑hand on all strategic and financial matters. You will shape long‑term financial goals, drive the annual planning process and ensure profitable execution across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor long‑term financial targets together with the GM, setting monthly and quarterly country and department goals.
• Implement corporate strategy at country and city level, collaborating with operations, marketing, procurement and commercial teams.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve profitability and conduct viability studies for new investments and business ideas.
• Manage treasury functions, optimise cash flow and resolve day‑to‑day finance issues with Global Finance teams.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and balance‑sheet reports, coordinate financial statements and oversee external audit relationships.
• Optimise fiscal policy, including VAT and multilateral agreements, and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical mindset, goal‑oriented and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
• Advanced accounting and finance knowledge with hands‑on experience in financial reporting.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
• Self‑driven, autonomous and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
