Head of Project Cargo & Industrial Projects

About the role

Aramex Morocco is seeking a strategic, results‑driven leader to head its Project Cargo & Industrial Projects division. You will be responsible for building and expanding the company’s capabilities in handling complex, heavy‑lift, out‑of‑gauge and breakbulk shipments for high‑impact sectors across Morocco and North Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a country‑level growth strategy for project cargo and industrial logistics.
• Lead end‑to‑end management of industrial tenders, including pricing, technical proposals and commercial frameworks.
• Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with EPC firms and key industrial accounts.
• Coordinate multimodal transport operations, heavy‑lift movements, vessel/aircraft charters and oversized road transport.
• Conduct site inspections, route surveys and feasibility studies for inland heavy‑lift transport.
• Negotiate service agreements and manage third‑party vendors such as heavy‑transport operators, port authorities and charter brokers.
• Own the vertical’s P&L, drive revenue growth, manage margins and control costs.
• Provide accurate revenue forecasts, variance analyses and performance reporting.
• Identify and mitigate operational, commercial and financial risks while ensuring compliance with customs, trade laws and HSSE standards.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years progressive experience in freight forwarding with a focus on project cargo, breakbulk and industrial logistics.
• Proven track record securing major project contracts and managing multimodal operations in North Africa or similar emerging markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering or a related field.
