Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of fresh produce from Moroccan growers to European and UK markets. The role ensures shipments are executed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify that growers pack fruit according to customer specifications and packing instructions, escalating any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with growers to confirm packing dates, completion dates, and departure times, providing timely shipment status updates.
• Track truck movements and transport activities, reporting departures, delays, and estimated arrival times to internal teams and border authorities.
• Assist with resolving packing list discrepancies and support growers in correcting export/import documentation.
• Act as a liaison between Moroccan origin operations and EU logistics teams, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on logistics processes, communication, and documentation accuracy.
• During the Southern Hemisphere import season, help monitor the quality of imported fruit and conduct quality inspections in Europe or the UK.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or fresh‑produce export operations.
• Strong understanding of export requirements and documentation compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with growers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
