Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer will coordinate the supply chain and logistical support for aviation operations, ensuring that parts, equipment and tools are available when needed. This position is based in Casablanca and works closely with maintenance, engineering and freight partners to keep aircraft on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage storage, distribution and timely delivery of aviation parts, engines, APUs and dangerous goods.
• Track high‑value, time‑critical components and provide ad‑hoc inventory support.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with freight forwarders, customs agents and transport companies.
• Maintain accurate documentation for traceability, customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
• Support Maintenance and Engineering teams, especially during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
• Assist procurement and vendor negotiations to ensure on‑time deliveries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 4 years of logistics experience, including 2 years in aviation.
• Fluent in the local language; English is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAA rules and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management software.
• Understanding of customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
• Knowledge of CAA regulations for aircraft spare parts.
