Payroll & Compensation Specialist (Belgium)

About the role

In this position, your main duty is to provide specialized knowledge in global payroll consulting across various countries and jurisdictions, ensuring effective management and adherence to regulations in international compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll operations across multiple countries, primarily Belgium.
• Support or lead the implementation of global payroll platforms for clients.
• Partner with management and legal teams to stay updated on regulations.
• Oversee data collection and validation, ensuring accurate upload to the digital payroll platform.
• Process and review full‑cycle payroll for multiple clients with varying complexity.
• Research specific customer queries or systemic issues and provide solutions.
• Evaluate existing business practices and systems, recommending improvements.
• Plan and track key project work streams from initiation to completion.
• Manage cross‑functional work streams and business dependencies.
• Develop and maintain a robust communication and engagement plan for efficient customer service.
• Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and collaborate across service lines to enhance internal efficiencies.

Required profile

• Bac +5 (Business school diploma or university master’s degree in finance, CCA, etc.).
• Full professional proficiency in French and English (both oral and written).
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to different tasks.
• Positive attitude towards learning and taking on new responsibilities.
