PhD Positions in Machine Learning – Fully Funded

About the role

The College of Computing at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) is offering four fully funded PhD positions in the research group of Prof. Hamza Keurti. The positions focus on structure and compositionality in representation learning, covering topics such as algebraic structures, dynamical systems, reinforcement learning, and automotive audio NVH performance assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct original research on structured representation learning and related domains.
• Develop and evaluate machine‑learning models that capture underlying data structures.
• Publish research findings in top‑tier conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with industry partner Stellantis and academic partners such as INSA Lyon on applied projects.
• Present results to the research group and broader academic community.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical background and programming ability.
• Motivation to pursue both fundamental and applied research in representation learning.
