Physics Teacher – Cambridge Curriculum

About the role

Inspired Education is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge curriculum from Key Stage 3 through IGCSE and A‑Level. You will join a vibrant international community, teaching in state‑of‑the‑art facilities and contributing to a high‑performing Science Department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Physics lessons aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Use assessment data to personalise interventions and prepare students for examinations.
• Develop schemes of work, assessment materials and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate progress records and communicate results to parents and leadership.
• Serve as a Form Tutor, monitor student wellbeing and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Participate in CPD, departmental meetings and share best practices.
• Lead at least one extra‑curricular activity each term and support school events.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A‑Level Physics, preferably in an international or British‑style school.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience in curriculum development.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
