About the role

The Cost Pilot will be responsible for managing and guaranteeing the cost commitment of advanced, project or serial initiatives. You will consolidate all economic elements, ensure optimal cost‑performance ratios and support decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and coordinate project cost management activities according to Job‑share, Pay‑share and RASI definitions.
• Monitor design costs to keep total project cost (TPC) aligned with performance, quality, schedule and R&D targets.
• Produce economic reports, forecasts and variance analyses for expenses and investments.
• Define component cost targets for purchasing in line with global GPSC objectives.
• Build and monitor risk and opportunity portfolios for projects and serial productions.
• Lead cost convergence plans and negotiate transformation cost contracts with manufacturing.
• Manage yearly investment and expense budgets, providing monthly breakdowns and forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in Economics or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in cost control, project finance or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with PLM tools.
