Plant Manager / Factory Director – Tangier

About the role

The client is seeking a senior Plant Manager / Factory Director to lead one or two industrial plants in Tangier, Morocco. You will be responsible for overseeing large production teams, driving operational excellence and implementing new AI‑powered ERP/MRP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and structure the overall management of plants with 200‑500+ employees.
• Plan and coordinate production, including capacity planning and line balancing.
• Monitor operational efficiency, production performance and quality standards.
• Implement and consolidate processes, procedures and working systems.
• Establish and track operational and production KPIs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities with warehouse, purchasing, sourcing and product development teams.
• Lead the implementation and adoption of an AI‑powered ERP/MRP system.
• Develop operational workflows and train the local workforce on new standards.

Required profile

• Availability for an initial 1–2 year project with possible extension.
• Proven experience as Plant Manager, Factory Director or equivalent, managing large teams in complex industrial settings.
• Background in textile, fashion, garment manufacturing or similar sectors (other industries also considered).
• Experience in production planning, line balancing, efficiency monitoring and quality management.
• Track record of implementing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
