Portfolio Coordinator, Rule of Law & Human Rights

About the role

The Portfolio Coordinator will support UNDP’s rule of law and human rights portfolio, focusing on Morocco’s judicial reform agenda. The role contributes to strengthening judicial independence, integrity and the protection of rights in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the portfolio of rule of law and human rights projects within UNDP.
• Support the implementation of Morocco’s Charter for the Reform of the Judicial System.
• Facilitate collaboration with the High Authority for the National Dialogue on the Reform of the Judicial System and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of activities with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and UNDP strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in rule of law, human rights or judicial reform initiatives.
• Familiarity with UN development frameworks and the Moroccan legal context.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
