Production Development Manager – Moulay Region

About the role

The Production Development Manager (PDM) will lead the execution of the production plan for the Moulay region, overseeing the grower base and ensuring key performance indicators such as yield per hectare, cost per kilogram, total production, and quality are met. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the PDM aligns regional activities with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the five‑year production plan, guaranteeing required hectares, volume, and fruit quality.
• Manage daily interactions with agronomy, QA, and grower‑service teams to allocate resources and set priorities.
• Communicate proactively with growers, anticipate constraints (weather, resources, cultural factors) and feed short‑term flow data to DEMEA.
• Develop and maintain grower financial performance models, ensuring competitive cost‑per‑kg and profitability targets.
• Lead grower board meetings, weekly commercial sessions, and quarterly reviews to involve growers in decision‑making.
• Introduce new genetics and production systems to maximize genetic potential.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in agricultural production management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to work closely with agronomy, quality assurance, and field teams.
• Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, forecasting, and profitability monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills to manage grower relationships and coordinate regional strategy.
