Project Coordinator – Green Growth & Jobs Accelerator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator (GGJA) in Morocco, ensuring effective delivery, strong private‑sector engagement and alignment with national and regional priorities. Reporting to the Democratic Governance Team Leader, the role will manage the project’s planning, financial oversight and stakeholder coordination across public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate effective project planning and implementation.
• Monitor implementation of activities and financial management, including SME cohort tracking and site visits.
• Oversee the work of the implementing partner to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of contractual outputs.
• Facilitate private‑sector engagement by maintaining dialogue with business associations, accelerators, innovation hubs and financial actors.
• Liaise with public institutions, academia and research networks to align enterprise support with policy frameworks.
• Ensure day‑to‑day coordination among partners and stakeholders, harmonising approaches and securing synergies with other DAPP initiatives.
• Support the development of green business plans and advise SMEs on sustainable production processes and market standards.
• Report progress to the Democratic Governance Team Leader and UNDP Morocco Country Office.
